Race car enthusiasts have a new place to show off their skills.

With a love for the hobby Rock Weeks and his son Jared, created a remote control race park in Mendon.
Rock Weeks says although Dust Devil Park is in a small town, its attracting big city names.

"A lot of the manufacturers in this industry have pro drivers, and course like this you don't see anywhere in the area, I had a driver last weekend that went around to Chicago, St. Louis, Kansas City, to a lot of the bigger tracks."

Dust Devil opened three weeks ago, and already has plenty of regulars.
For those who want to pick up the sport all you need is your own car, and some free time.

Jared Weeks, "Very inexpensive you can take that one car, and go along way with it before you ever have to buy another one, its just easy to get started and you can stay in for a long time.""

The track is open three days a week for practice sessions, and Sundays for race day.
Races last five to seven minutes.

"Is it like the real thing?  Its got to be close the only thing is you don't get to feel anything, its the easy smooth ride, of standing up there, and watching the car go, I wouldn't want to be in some of those wrecks."
